The Country Boys are in action! They are awake a little more during the day. We have heard one little bark so far in the early morning. The tiny growls are constant during playtime and are adorable. They think they are really "tough guys." The boys are having a great time mastering use of their little legs and mouthing EVERYTHING their reach. It's sweet to feel their gums, because they are still toothless! Each of the puppies enjoys grooming time each day when they get their eyes washed and their coats brushed--they all have beautiful and full coats. Soon the coats will begin to fluff up, first looking awkward with bits and pieces standing up and then lovely when the entire coat becomes fluffy. Nose and eye pigment continues to come in and should be mostly complete by nine weeks of age. The all-night milk bar is still a very popular hang out. Within the next week we will begin to offer a little goat's milk formula and plain yogurt from a bowl and then gradually begin to add a little moistened dry kibble.
